The CD5022 is a controller for Boost and SEPICregulators. The device contains all of the featuresneeded to implement single ended primary powerconverter topologies. Output voltage regulation isbased on current-mode control and this not onlyeases the design of loop compensation, but alsoprovides the inherent input voltage feedforward.The CD5022 includes a start-up voltage regulatorthat operates over a wide input range of 6V to 60V.The PWM controller is designed for high speedcapability including an oscillator frequency range to2.2MHz and total propagation delays less thanAdditional features include an error100ns.amplifier, precision reference, line under-voltagelockout, cycle-by-cycle current limit, slopecompensation, soft-start, external synchronizationcapability and thermal shutdown.
